Print and assemble number template. Using your Etsy download, print out the size for the mosaic. The option Iām linking comes with templates for 1ft, 2ft, 3ft 4ft, 5ft and 6ft. Friendly reminder, the bigger the template, the more foam board you will need.
Using your white duct tape, tape foam boards together.
Use your Exacto knife to carefully cut out your number.
Using your ruler, measure out 6ā of the length of the foam board and cut. This will make up your side pieces. For rounded edges, lightly score the foam board as to not go entirely through. Lightly score the foam board one inch a part. Pro Tip: when scoring, use your ruler as a guide as you go.
Assemble mosaic. Using lots and lots of hot glue, carefully assemble the base to the sides of the mosaic. Using your side pieces cut your edges as you go.
Fill up your mosaic with balloons and attach with glue dots or low temp hot glue.
Enjoy! I hope this helps inspire your creations and would love to see them. For more visuals, watch the video on TikTok and tag me on Instagram!
