Life Lately...

Life… has been pretty interesting to say the least. Just writing this post is not easy. I’ve been off the platform for a while. Between losing my Mom, selling our first home and the pandemic, it’s been pretty hard to stay positive with the things going on in my life and in the world.

What do you do? how do you move forward? How do you cope? I look at the glass half full quite often and I need to be better about that. I know it’s easier said than done, but let’s face it, it’s better to look at the positives in life.

Moving forward into the next days/weeks, I challenge myself to take it a day at a time. Goldie is getting older and I want to be present and capture those milestones.

My Dad will also finally make the move from California to Texas! He and Adam will make the drive and be here in the beginning of the month. Bittersweet, but it’s how my Mom would have wanted it. I’m looking forward to the next chapter in his life and having him around will be a blessing.

Although this is not how we had imagined 2020, what are you looking forward to?
