Moorten Botanical Gardens

It’s no secret to all my friends that I am completely obsessed with Palm Springs. It’s my happy place! I can’t stay away from here. It’s the first place I’d run to every chance I get; in fact, this is where we decided to have our Babymoon!

Don’t get me wrong, the summer season can get packed with tourists and the weather can get incredibly hot, but the town is small and perfect for relaxing getaways or girls weekends.

If you’re planning to visit Palm Springs anytime in the future, I’ve taken the time to list out some of my favorite places to eat and see!

Eat:

Norma Located in the Parker Hotel. Get a photo in front of the Orange door and lots of photo opportunities in the back of the hotel with the mid century fireplace and hanging chairs! This brightly covered open air terrace is the perfect spot for breakfast! Served all day.

Azucar Restaurant and Bar Located in La Serena Villas, Azucar features a modern contemporary cuisine focused on tapas and mediterranean foods. The rooftop bar is a mixture bohemian vibes and ultimately a great spot to get evening drinks.

Kreem Artisanal Ice Cream and Coffee features hand-made in-house ice creams and sorbets in a variety of seasonal flavors. They also have a vegan friendly offering and are based with organic and natural ingredients. Non-GMO, no preservatives or additives.

The Pink Cabana located in the Sands Hotel and Spa, the Pink Cabana features Mediterranean cuisine with a Moroccan influence. Beautifully decorated in palm-patterned wallpaper and cement tile, this hot spot has the best Harissa chicken with saffron potatoes and a variety of cocktails, worthy of posting on your social feed.

See:

White House, Pink Door #ThatPinkDoor 1100 Sierra Way (There's also a house with lions on the outside..3 doors down. Take advantage and soak in all the Mid Century Architecture and bike around if the weather is cool.

Moorten Botanical Garden is a 1-acre family-owned botanical garden specializing in cacti and other desert plants. Entry is $5. Go early since it will be hot and you can get some cute pics in the greenhouse. Plus the earlier you go, the less crowded it is!

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a 15-minute tram ride up over 6,000 feet. With breathtaking views and multiple viewpoints, it’s located just 10 minutes outside of town. Known as the world’s largest rotating tramcar, this engineering marvel has been running for over 50 years. The tram also provides access to some great hiking trails, two restaurants, and multiple viewpoints.
